One of the most popular and dog friendly holiday areas present day, Beadnell consists of three villages in one and is 3 miles from the popular resort of Seahouses. The harbour is of considerable age; the main attraction is the magnificent golden sandy beach, beautiful coastline, and views to the Cheviot Hills. Walkers will delight in the miles of unspoilt beach and country walks easily accessible by footpaths and foreshore.
The village has a shop/post office & chip shop, 2 pubs serving a wide range of meals. The Craster Arms is very dog friendly and dogs can be taken in to one of the bar areas which serves good food and the Sunday Roasts are highly recommended!
Boat trips to the Farne Island and Holy Island and Bamburgh castle are within half an hour's drive away.
The smaller beach is ideal for an early morning walk with your dogs being only 5 minutes from Pedigree Cottage. The long sandy beach is only 20 minutes walk or a short drive with very easy access. The Dunes at Bamburgh and Seahouses are also just a short drive away.
Pedigree Cottage: 1 double bedroom with king-size bed, & views to the beach and hills beyond. 2nd bedroom with bunk beds. Shower room, open plan living room with T.V., open plan kitchen, conservatory, fully enclosed garden safe for dogs. Driveway for 2 cars. Walking distance to pubs, shop & beach.
